Jovani Hernandez Over the last two weeks, any talk about the being formerly known as “Kanye West” has related to everything but the adidas Yeezy empire. Recently, however, the 44-year-old has confirmed several release dates for his brand, giving casual and savvy consumers alike something to look forward to. The latest?: A restock of the Yeezy Slides “Pure.”
First seen in April 2021, the clean-colored Yeezys have re-released three times since debuting. While Ye and his Three Stripes family haven’t disclosed production numbers, enough pairs of the slip-on model have been produced with each re-stock in order to make it seem ubiquitous. Starkly contrasting “Onyx,” “Soot” and other colorways, the “Pure” style reverts to the color palette synonymous with Yeezy‘s earliest propositions, which will surely serve as a welcomed decision given some of the label’s more experimental offerings as of recent.
